Designer Toby Lynn grew up immersed in fashion, meeting Calvin Klein, Halston, and other luminaries of the fashion world at her father’s workshop. Later, as a style journalist with a front-row seat to the world’s runways, she studied the language of fashion. Her best-selling book Dress Code, Understanding The Hidden Messages Behind Women's Clothing Choices, helped women all over the world find their own voice through style and design.

Drawing on her fashion experience, Toby Lynn began designing her own statement jewelry, beginning with her engagement ring. She immersed herself in the history of jewelry, particularly inspired by Art Deco style and landmark designers such as Suzanne Belperron and Tony Duquette. Commissions for the theater and red carpet followed, attracting jewelry collectors and connoisseurs around the world.
